Vicki’s help with the sale of my house was invaluable. I couldn’t have done it without her! Her great advice and hard work resulted in the sale of my home in less than two days, during a snow storm! Even having to deal with difficult buyers, she did whatever was necessary – delivering documents and making calls late into the night. Her patience and professionalism paid off, kept the sale on track, and finally got us to closing. She definitely went above and beyond, and always with a great attitude. Vicki also represented me during the purchase of a new home. Holding my hand and “babysitting” me through the process is probably a more accurate description. Never having purchased a new home before, my head was spinning over builder deadlines, options/upgrades and construction issues. Vicki’s experience with new home builders was a tremendous help. From signing the contract, to suggestions on light fixtures and counter tops, to the final walk-thru, Vicki helped me through each phase of the process and provided me with great advice. She even threw in some much needed decorating advice. Thanks to Vicki’s efforts, I have a home I love. I think Vicki’s personality and experience make her a terrific real estate agent. She was an advocate, as well as a friend, through the entire process, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

We love Vicki! She was always super organized and available. I am high strung and very detail-oriented and knowing Vicki was working for us made the whole process a lot less stressful because I knew she had every detail covered. She is a straight-talker. We sold our house in two weeks and found a house we really, really love. When inevitable hiccups occurred (mostly due to buyers’ agent), Vicki was on top of it. This was the second time we used Vicki. In 2004 she helped us as first-time home buyers in a hot seller’s market. It took six contracts and many, many house visits, but her dedication never wavered. Vicki recently helped us to sell our house. She was terrific to work with and provided real value added throughout the process. She helped identify which areas of our home would benefit from updating (she even shopped with me to help pick out the counter tops!) and explained which things would get us the biggest bang for our buck. When selling a higher end home in Northern Virginia we contacted a local Real Estate Agent. Not having a clue who to call, we called the first name we saw on a sale sign nearby. What a mistake. After going through a horrible ordeal and firing that agent we found our savior agent, Vicki Martin. I thought I knew a little about real estate having purchased several homes in my life time. Those experiences did help, however, today’s market is not your father’s market. It is more complex and requires a real professional to be at the top of their game. After signing with Vicki, that sale went without a hitch. Since we sold that house and were nearing retirement, we decided to downsize but stay close to our jobs. Again, with Vicki’s guidance we sailed through that purchase. As luck would have it two years later we decided we wanted to change areas to fully retire. We knew who to call. Vicki helped us stage the house, and after listing it we had a contract in three days. It seems educated buyers know who to go to for real estate deals. We found our retirement house and guess what, we were in our new home within a month. I have never written a testimonial for anyone or any business. I am suspicious and have some anxiety about purchasing a house or selling. After dealing with Vicki the first time we knew that she knew her stuff and, most importantly looked after us and our interests. Everyone seems to know someone that is an agent when you mention you want to sell but, other than knowing them, can you trust them? I trust this agent and that is most important.

Just wanted you to know that both my husband and I were very pleased with the way Vicki handled all of our needs in picking the right home for us. She was very patient with us as I’m sure we “plucked her nerves”! We had her meeting us at so many different homes, we probably made her head spin. But all throughout this ordeal she always had a smile on her face and took it like a champ! We are now proud owners of a gorgeous home in Jeffersonton, Va. and just love it! Vicki also sold the house we had been living in. She sold it in 4 hours! We were thrilled with that and couldn’t believe it. She really did a fantastic job and I’m going to refer her name to my co-workers if I hear anyone talking about buying or selling. She is a real doll and my husband (John) and I have really enjoyed working with her.
